Watching Christians attacking one another is heart breaking. At the top of that list would be a church split. When a church board decides that they have the right to remove a Pastor for anything other than moral failure or running off with the tithes of the church is wrong. And God will make that evident in the future.
God appoints Pastors and Teachers. The elders of the church in the New Testament were used to serve the body of Christ, such as widows and orphans.
Accountability is important. But God has always worked through Shepherds of His flock. They carry the greatest weight of responsibility in God’s eyes. And they are responsible to bring the body of Christ into the presence of God. He will judge any wrong doing one day.
